Chris Abaya is a filmmaker and videographer from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. He has written and produced several short films including Heartless and Shadow Valley.
Chris is self-taught and got his start in film and video by making commercials and filming wedding videos. "I always loved movies, and just felt like that was where I belonged, where I was really happy - making movies."
When it comes to film, Chris admires story, concept and acting the most. He calls himself a "closet actor" and has tremendous respect for the craft. Chris has stated, "To make your job easier as a director, just cast the project right."
His upcoming indie web series, The Dark Figure is in production and will be released online in late 2021.
