Graduated from The Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University Moshe Rosenthal is an Israeli filmmaker. Writing and directing films, commercials, television and web.
Writer and director of Shabaton (18 min, 2016) won Best Director Award at Jerusalem FF, Best Short at Zlin FF. His short, Our Way Back (26 min, 2018), was nominated for the Israeli Academy Awards, and was theatrically released in Israel. His web-series Confess won several awards including the Grand Prix Award and Best Screenplay Award at the Marseille Web Fest and Best Director Award at the 2017 Sicily web fest. Confess became the first Israeli web-series to get picked up by an American TV network, with AMC developing the American adaptation of the show, by academy award nominee July Delpy. In 2018 Moshe participated in the Sam-Spiegel Jerusalem Film Lab, there he received a jury award for his screenplay Independence. Karaoke, his upcoming feature, won the Steve Tisch grant for first features, as well as the second prize in Jerusalem FF Pitch-point event.
