Garret Popek was born on a farm in Downers Grove Illinois. Took up the
art of Trick and Fancy Gunspinning at the age of 11. Since then has won
multiple World and National titles. Performs across the nation as well
as providing gun coaching for actors and stuntmen. Is the owner of
Silverado Studio, a practical effects company that specializes in
"Movie Magic." Providing high quality special makeup effects,
sculpture, animatronics, and action props. Influenced by his late
father Bart to create "something from nothing", he has a passion and
love for his craft that is quite evident in all of his work.
