Elina Amromina is a graduate from St.Petersburg State Conservatory with major in opera theatre directing, she started her career in 2008 staging opera "Prima la musica e poi le parole" by Salieri (based on her own translation of the libretto), premiered in St. Petersburg, Russia. She stages productions for open air festivals and opera theatres. Among her works are: "Eugeny Onegin", "Queen of Spades", "Don Pasquale", "Elisir d'amore" and others. As soprano she participated in master-classes led by renowned musicians: Vladimir Chernov - a soloist of Metropolitan opera, Lyubov Kasarnovskaya, Anna Maria Chiuri, Paul O'Dette, Ellen Hargis, Paul Esswood. She made her debut before the camera in a short film "The Way Out" (68th Cannes Festival, Short Film Corner) playing not only the main role, but also providing a singing voice for her character. Her other roles include the Lady in a short film "The Lady in Red" and Emilia in the full-length feature "The reverse side of figment". She was awarded the best actress award for "The Way Out" at the international festival "Reflections of Spirit" in Erlangen, Germany and has been nominated at the Short Film Awards Festival in New-York, United States.
