Chennai, April 28: Tamil actress Aishwarya Arjun fainted on the sets of upcoming Tamil romantic-comedy "Pattathu Yaanai" Sunday in Trichy due to extremely hot weather.

"We were shooting outdoors in extremely hot conditions of Trichy for the last few days. Since we were shooting non-stop, she couldn't handle the heat and fainted. We have given her medical attention and have requested her to rest for a while," a source from the film's until told Ians.

Directed by Boopathy Pandian, "Pattathu Yaanai" also features Vishal Krishna, Santhanam, Sita, Jagan, Mano Bala and Karthik in important roles.

Chennai, March 22: Tamil director Boopathy Pandian can't stop raving about actor Arjun Sarja's daughter, debutant Aishwarya Arjun, who will be seen in upcoming Tamil comedy "Pattathu Yaanai".

"Not all star kids are blessed with acting prowess, but Aishwarya is an exception. I believe she has inherited acting skills from her father. She pulls of the most difficult scenes with ease and confidence. I'm extremely happy with the way she handles her role", Boopathy told Ians.

"What is impressive is that she agreed to play a school going character in her debut. I don't think the daughter of any other star actor would agree to.

Chennai, Jan 6: Debutante Aishwarya Arjun, daughter of Tamil actor Arjun, says it was not a conscious decision to enter filmland.

"I never told myself that I wanted to become an actress...the thought of becoming an actress was a subconscious decision. I received plenty of offers over the years but for some reason I was waiting for the right time," Aishwarya told Ians.

A fashion design graduate from London, Aishwarya is debuting opposite Vishal Krishna in the upcoming Tamil action-drama "Pattatthu Yaanai", directed by Boopathy Pandian.

Actor Vishal’s career wasn’t considerably good as his previous films turned to be box office disasters. His change occurred with debutant Thiru’s ‘Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai’, which showcased him in a completely contrastive role of a chirpy young boy.
