Meggorie Haven
- Actress
Meggorie Haven is proud native of the Cincinnati, OH area. She began in theatre as a child, encouraged by her grandmother's love of theatre. Initially aiming to be a technician and stage manager, she was forced onstage when an actress in a show quit with less than a week before opening night and the director asked her to fill in. She received positive feedback and was asked to audition for other roles by that same director. Once she caught the acting bug, Meggorie decided to develop her talents and do more, acting in high school, college, and community productions.
She did a few short films in college as a favor to a friend, but prefers the excitement of live performance and production. She won an Orchid Award for her performance as Mrs. Frank in 'The Diary of Anne Frank' with Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre in 2012. She has done several productions professionally, even debuting roles in original works for JBM Encore Productions. She has performed with many different theatrical troupes, including a staged reading at the Aranoff Center with Cincinnati Playwright's Initiative. She found her passion in working as a Drama and Show Choir Director, though she continues to do industrials, commercials, and print work.
