Skye Collyer began her TV career as co-host of TSN's Scooter Girls while still
at theatre school and, since 2007, has been national host of GTV's
Watch and Win movie night every weekend across Canada. Skye has covered
several high profile events such as the Toronto International Film
Festival (TIFF -2009 & 2010), the Much Music Video Awards (MMVA's 2009)
with Tdot.TV, Toronto Fashion Week (2009-2010) with SunTV, Rogers TV
Buffalo Bills game day segments, live OHL and pre-game LeafsTV Gate5
Live coverage (2010), as well as E! Entertainment nightlife hotspots
(2009). She has also covered charity events for Princess Margaret
Hospital, and shoots corporate segments with the Law Society of Upper
Canada (LSUC) and Rogers. She has also worked as anchor for the Daily
Ticker investor's news show, on-air Sports Zone OHL primetime, on-air
Shopping Channel spokesperson for sports-related products, and guest
co-host for programs on W and HGTV.
Skye is an accomplished actor who just completed a new Canadian series for BNN Stock and Awe (2010) where she plays the leading lady's arch nemesis. She also played a supporting role as Mindy in Stardust Pictures' Shark City (2009) with Vivica A. Fox, Corey Haim, and Carlo Rota. She played a leading role in CBC's X-Pod, created by 2-time Emmy winner Xenophile Media, and starred in indie hit Aversion Therapy, an award-winner at the 2003 New York 48-Hour Film Festival. She has also appeared in many high-rotation MuchMusic and CMT music videos.
