Stephanie Ann Saunders is a versatile character actress, singer, and dancer, proud member of Screen Actors Guild and Actors Equity Association, and MFA graduate of American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) in San Francisco. Since her early days in youth theater in Manchester, New Hampshire she got the bug as a hunch-back limping monkey in Wizard of Oz (her choice to add the limp) and with some dancing & singing lessons, found her love of musical comedy belting out tunes in roles including Val in A Chorus Line and Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes. After completing a BA in Theater at San Diego State and working in the regional summer theaters including Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar an discovering her other love, dark comedy, as Trudy in Christopher Durang's Betty's Summer Vacation, she was accepted into the MFA program at A.C.T. There her character skills were put to the test as a 92 year old women in Edward Albees Three Tall Women, and Nanny/Mrs. Willoughby in another Durang work, Baby With The Bathwater, plus a dozen other productions. While in San Francisco attending grad school, she also worked regionally as Donna in the west coast premiere of Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical, and A.C.T. main stage in The Tosca Project with San Francisco Ballet, A Christmas Carol, and Kurt Weill's Happy End, and is featured on the cast album of the first English language Happy End soundtrack at Skywalker Ranch, released on Ghostlight Records, and produced by David Frost. Once she finally arrived in Los Angeles at the old age of 27, she got comfortable in front of the camera and has continued to work in all entertainment mediums, be it independent film (Black Out, Lost and Found, Emilys Freedom) studio films (Challengers, Central Intelligence, Ghostbusters, Stronger), television (Kroll Show, Homicide Hunter, My Life Is A Lifetime Movie), commercials (Staples, Clairol), as she is on stage. She co-wrote, produced, and directed the comedy web-series A Bachelorette in Koreatown, and also Backstage Girls, and continues to write and develop new projects including a new construction web-series, Footings 2 Finished, now in Season 2.
