- Aidan Gillett is an Australian actor and stunt performer who was born in Katoomba, in the Blue Mountains NSW. He began acting at age 18 and that same year auditioned and was accepted into the National Institute of Dramatic Art. He graduating with the class of 2007, being awarded a bachelor degree in Dramatic Art Acting. Since graduation from NIDA he has appeared in television, film, commercials and theatre. - On 'Out Of The Blue', Aidan performed all of his own action, Including being admitted to hospital when a simple tackle stunt went slightly wrong filming the episode 31. He now uses this as a prime example of why actors do action and stuntmen do stunts.
