Jon Daugharthy

Jon Daugharthy was born in Ottawa, Kansas, and grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. He graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School and Kansas State University with a B.S. in Political Science/Pre-Law and a minor in business Finance.
On a dare his sophomore year at K-State, he auditioned for a summer job at Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, got the offer, and spent the next several summers singing in Virginia. That led to multiple contracts singing for Opryland Productions and Tokyo Disneyland. Breaking from performing for several years, he earned a law degree from Vanderbilt Law School, then settled in Kansas City, where he now works as both an actor and lawyer.
Jon's films include State of Grace, Belong to Us, The American Artist: The Life & Times of George Caleb Bingham, and Matchmaker Mary. He's accrued well over a hundred national and regional commercial/industrial acting credits, and his musical theater credits include leading roles at the American Heartland Theater, Chestnut Fine Arts Center, the Kansas City Symphony, Metropolitan Ensemble Theater, Music Theater Heritage, New Theatre & Restaurant, and Quality Hill Playhouse.
Jon is happily married to actress Michelle Daugharthy. They have two girls together, Emery Daugharthy and Lily Daugharthy, and he is the proud step-father of Jenna Bickelhaupt.
