Welcome to this weeks Ring of Honor review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have lots of action to get to, so let’s do so. That doesn’t sound very exciting, does it? Well, take it up with the Indian from that old recycling commercial from the 70s… who happened to be Italian.
Match #1: Kenny King beat Chase Owens My Take: 3 out of 5
This was good match that featured one of King’s best performances in some time, while giving Owens a rare chance to show his skills in outside of Japan. The action was slow but audacious, with Owens flying around with precision, at certain junctures, of course. Welcome to week two of the Nerdly Wrestling Awards, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a very competitive week of wrestling to get to, with one league getting a card in as an early exception to the rule. Let’s get right to the best of wrestling, from last week.
Worst Promo:
1. The Smoke Show (Impact)
2. N/A (Ring Of Honor)
3. The Wedding Of Johnny Mundo And Taya (Lucha Underground)
4. N/A (Aaa)
5. The Resurrection Of Joey Ryan (All In)
6. N/A (Major League Wrestling)
7. The IIconics Challenge Naomi (WWE)
Winner: The Wedding Of Johnny Mundo And Taya (Lucha Underground)
This was pretty lousy television no matter how you look at it. Lucha Undeground went a little too close to Vince McMahon’s bread and butter here, complete with the bad comedy that Vince likes.

Instead, they gossip with friends and co-workers, with each character spilling details about his or her sex life. The most refreshing thing about Platonic is...
