Tell Me You Love Me is an intensely personal short film co-written and co-directed by Gary C. Warren (The Path Of Torment, Best Laid Schemes) and Sharon Wright.
Sharon Wright (Candy Apple Red, Three Blind Saints) also stars in the film as a woman tormented by the memory of a violent act committed against her in the past. Now, with everything around her a reminder of what she has endured, emotions boil to a head, leading to an ironic conclusion.
This 5-plus minute short film is a dramatic thriller that packs an audio/visual wallop to accompany the equally emotional story. Warren’s style comes through primarily in his editing, as is the case with his two feature films as well, cutting abruptly and precisely to associate disconnected moments in time and evoke and enhanced sensory response. Warren.s choice of music for the soundtrack is also significant to the filmmaker’s interpretation,...

Todd Norris certainly grabs the audiences attention in his new short film Candy Apple Red.
Emily (Sharon Wright) is a photographer with a keen eye, and a shy attitude. Her boyfriend Allen (Allen Lowman) seems to control their failing relationship and knocks Emily down, rather than building up her confidence. In other words, Allen is a dick! But then, Emily’s world gets turned upside-down when she meets Lisa (Lisa Marie Evans), a massage therapist. Lisa is definitelly the opposite of Emily: Outgoing, Confident, and Sexual. Emily must have seen something in her, because she agrees to take photos of Lisa… and things really change pace. Lisa awakens something in Emily that has been laying dormant, and opens the gates to a sexual awakening.
I have to say, this was one steamy short. Sharon Wright plays both the docile, shy woman and the sexually awakened siren with great ease. Her versatility is rather impressive!

Change For A Dollar is a 10-minute short film from writer, director and producer Sharon Wright, which played the Aof International FilmFest in July 2010. I have to confess, I had intended to get to this film much earlier, but I am glad I did see this little gem and encourage anyone of any age to see it, given the opportunity.
Wright’s film packs an emotional punch, without being sappy or overly melodramatic. Structured more like a music video than a traditional narrative film, Change For A Dollar has no dialogue and really doesn’t need any. The beautiful orchestral score by Christopher Komstoeft, along with the down-to-Earth acting tells the story of a homeless man (played by Robert P. Campbell) who chooses to make a difference in several people’s lives with only a dollar.
As the audience, we travel with the homeless man on this short journey, witnessing...

SenoReality Pictures, in association with Free State Studios, has just wrapped production on a new short film entitled "Time's Up, Eve", a supernatural thriller set in the 1940's starring Sharon Wright and Ari Bavel.
Directed by Patrick Rea and co-written by Rea and Jon Niccum, the film was shot in Lawrence, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri. The director of photography is Hanuman Brown-Eagle, who shot "Time's Up, Eve" in black and white to give it a true "noir" feel. Rea and company hope to have the film finished by the end of the summer.
Below are some stills Rea sent over to give us a feel for how the completed short will look:
Rea is currently nearing the end of production on SenoReality's next feature, Nailbiter. Read more about that in Heather Wixson's recent interview with the up-and-coming filmmaker here.
