Born and raised in Canton, Ohio, Christopher Simon has always had a
creative passion for cinema. From a young age, his uncle constantly
exposed him to new movies, which opened a vast refuge of imagination to
the fledgling filmmaker. Influenced by classics such as Star Wars, E.T.
and Back to the Future, the iconic stories of the silver-screen peopled
the story of Simon's personal childhood, and it was clear to him early
on what he was meant to do.
Then in 2006 he attended Stark State College of Technology in Canton, where he earned an Associates of Arts Degree in Multimedia Design. After graduation he wanted more and eventually, his dream led him 2,500 miles from home to Hollywood, California, where he continued his education at the Los Angeles Film School. In October 2007, Simon graduated from LAFS with a certificate in Directing and Cinematography.
