Cobra Kai actress Alicia Hannah-Kim has spoken up about her recent clash with co-star Martin Kove, who bit her arm at a fan convention in Puyallup, Washington.
On June 23, Hannah-Kim and Kove were at a VIP meet-and-greet for Summer Con when Kove bit Hannah-Kim and was subsequently escorted off the premises.
The police report stated that Hannah-Kim told an officer that when she had tapped Kove on the shoulder to say hello, he had turned around, grabbed her arm and bit her “so hard he nearly drew blood.” Though Hannah-Kim decided not to press charges, she still requested the report be filed as a precaution in case such incidents continued.
On Sunday, Hannah-Kim posted a video to Instagram, starting off, “I know that there’s a lot going on in the world right now, so I am going to keep this brief.”
She said, “I was really enjoying my time at Summer Con.

Cobra Kaistar Alicia Hannah-Kim has decided to speak directly to her fans about the recent incident with co-star Martin Kove. Just over a week ago, Kove and Hannah-Kim were present at the Washington State Summer Con alongside the rest of the cast of the Netflix series. During preparation for a meet-and-greet event, Kove bit Hannah-Kim on the arm. The actress recalled the bite as anything but playful, and she said that there were signs of bruising. After contacting law enforcement, Kove was asked to leave the convention amid claims that he was just "playing."
Hannah-Kim, who attended the event with her husband, also a TV star named Sebastian Roché, did not press any charges. However, she asked the police to make a report on the biting incident. Kove, on the other hand, made a formal apology, and then had to address other assault accusations that also resurfaced during the media blitz.

“Cobra Kai” star Alicia Hannah-Kim has publicly spoken out about the incident in which her co-star Martin Kove bit her arm at this year’s Washington State Summer Con, telling her supporters, “No one wants to be attacked at work.”
Hannah-Kim filed a police report against the 78-year-old actor, accusing him of biting and bruising her arm. While the two were both at Summer Con, Hannah-Kim alleged that she approached Kove in a VIP area to greet him only for him to grab her arm after she tapped him on the shoulder and bite her so hard he nearly drew blood and cause her to yell out in pain. Afterward, Kove allegedly began kissing the area he had bitten.

Things have just gotten more complicated for Cobra Kai star Martin Kove, the actor involved in a bizarre assault incident that took place last weekend. Not only was he removed from the convention because he violently bit co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim. But other allegations have resurfaced from events that took place during the production of the series' last season. Kove was accused of sexual misconduct in the past, but the investigation did not have an official resolution.
Per a report by Deadline, the event in question took place during the production of Cobra Kai Season 6. The accusation was made in April 2024 by an extra on the Atlanta set where the Netflix series was being shot. The identity of the person who accused Kove of sexual misconduct remains undisclosed.

Martin Kove has been in serious hot water ever since it was reported that he bit his Cobra Kai co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim at a convention earlier this week. It has been followed by a new accusation of misconduct that allegedly occurred on the set of the Netflix show last year, but Kove denied this in an official response.
Deadline has reported that Kove, who played John Kreese on the show, was acused of problematic behavior during the filming of Season 6 of Cobra Kai back in April 2024. An unnamed actress on the set, an extra, accused Kove of sexually harassing her by "leering," leading to an investigation by Sony Pictures Television. That refers to looking at someone in a way that's unpleasant, possibly suggestive. There was no physical contact from Kove, it's worth noting, but the accuser felt uncomfortable enough to file a complaint.

Exclusive: Cobra Kai and Karate Kid actor Martin Kove’s bite attack on a co-star at a recent fan convention wasn’t the first time he has been accused of misconduct, it turns out — though the actor denies anything inappropriate ever occurred.
An incident last year on the Atlanta set of Cobra Kai’s final season led to an investigation by series producer Sony Pictures Television over Kove’s behavior, I’ve learned.
Specifically, the probe emerged from an April 2024 sexual harassment complaint against Kove from an extra on the Netflix series created by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald.
While the matter did not involve physical contact from Kove, it was said to be “leering” and verbally overt enough that the actress went to the studio with her concerns about the septuagenarian actor and how uncomfortable he made her. Sony conducted an initial review of the allegations on...

Cobra Kai may be over, but one of its stars is currently making headlines for the weirdest possible reason.
Martin Kove, who played the villainous John Kreese in the original Karate Kid series and its recent spin-off series, assaulted his Cobra Kai co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim at a fan convention. Specifically, he bit her, which is shocking news to hear about any well-known actor not named Jon Voight.
Per The Hollywood Reporter, a police report filed after the incident describes that Kove “suddenly grabbed her arm and bit her upper arm so hard it nearly drew blood, and she yelled out in pain. Once Martin Kove finished biting her arm, he grabbed her arm again and began kissing it where he had bit her.”
When Hannah-Kim and her husband later addressed the issue with Kove, he reportedly “exploded on them, saying something to the effect of how dare they confront him,...

Before Biting Incident, ‘Cobra Kai’ Star Martin Kove Had “Weird Mind F***” Encounter with Bill Hader
Decades before Cobra Kai actor Martin Kove became ensnared in a personal brand crisis of his own making by biting a fellow actor, he displayed some rude and downright cruel behavior with a not-yet-famous actor, who described the moment as “a weird mind fuck.” Now that Kove’s actions are being scrutinized, the strange tale has resurfaced.
On Sunday, Kove was escorted out of a convention in Washington state after he admitted he bit his former co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim’s hand and then exploded at her and her husband when confronted about the assault, according to a report from local police.
Now it’s being noted online and by The New York Post that Barry star Bill Hader once had a weird day with Kove. Hader was 20 when he first got to Los Angeles and took a job driving castmembers to production sets, as the now-Emmy-winning actor told Marc Maron...

Uncomfortable new footage (below) has emerged online of Cobra Kai's Alicia Hannah-Kim confronting co-star and veteran Karate Kid actor Martin Kove at last weekend’s (June 20-22) Washington State Summer Con after he disturbingly bit the actress. It appears that Cobra Kai star Martin Cove took the series’ “Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy” motto a bit too seriously even off the screens, while he was attending a recently held fan convention in Washington. This is because he reportedly ended up pulling an unexpected stunt at the event as he ‘bit hard’ his fellow co-star, Alicia Hannah-Kim.
According to the latest reports, Kove almost got into some really serious trouble when he actually caught Kim off-guard by biting her, which resulted in his leaving his co-star with a bruise turning blue. If that wasn’t enough, this reported bizarre behavior actually continued with the actor even proceeding to attempt to kiss her after biting her!

I regret my actions for which I take full responsibility for what I did, and again I apologize to her and her husband. I’m committed to learning from this and it will never happen again.

There are awkward handshakes, clumsy hugs, and then there’s… this. Okay, so let’s imagine walking into a fan convention ready to smile for cameras, only to be gnawed on by your co-star like a prop in a horror scene no one asked for. That’s precisely what Alicia Hannah-Kim allegedly endured at Summer Con in Puyallup, Washington, when Martin Kove, yes, the forever-frowning John Kreese from The Karate Kid, allegedly bit her arm so hard it nearly drew blood.
And then allegedly kissed it. What followed was a tense exchange, police involvement, and Kove being promptly escorted out. He called it humor. She called it inappropriate. Her husband called it unacceptable. What about us? We call it one of the most bizarre co-star clashes we’ve ever seen unfold outside of a movie set.

Netflix's Emmy-nominated series Cobra Kai recently came to an exciting conclusion, which means its rising stars are moving on to exciting new ventures. That includes series standout Jacob Bertrand, aka "Hawk" — who garnered the infamous nickname thanks to a certain hairdo. MovieWeb spoke to Bertrand following the Cobra Kai series finale and learned more about his next show, titled Tempest. It's billed as "an intelligence melodrama about spies who have lost their identity," according to online buzz.
"That show is going to be so sick," Bertrand told us. "All the actors are insanely talented. I was just doing scenes with them and was like, 'All these people are really, really good.'" Added to that, Bertrand's Cobra Kai co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim — aka sensei — also stars in Tempest. "My role is much more akin to like a cameo," said Bertrand, adding:

And there we have it. "Cobra Kai" has bowed out for the final time, with Season 6 Part 3 bringing Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel Larusso's (Ralph Macchio) 41-year journey together to an end. But along the way, other fighters who were just as determined and devoted to being the best around joined them on their path, leading to some frankly outlandish events. During its six incredible and ludicrous seasons, we witnessed mass high school brawls, arson attacks, and an actual prison break. Three people have even died because of the (checks notes) karate school war that should've ended years ago. This article contains spoilers for "Cobra Kai" season 6 part 3.
At the end of the day, "Cobra Kai" has always been Johnny Lawrence's (William Zabka) show. The series finale, titled "Ex-Degenerate," confirms as much, both with its title that nods at the series premiere "Ace Degenerate" and its plot that keeps a laser-like focus on his journey.
Despite this, "Cobra Kai" has kept expanding its cast over the years, often spending entire seasons to introduce and develop complex new combatants to throw at an established name. This has been highly entertaining, especially since it has kept things from getting stale, and these new faces tend to be quite interesting. Unfortunately, this leaves season 6 with a massive problem: Since comparatively few characters actually exit the show at any point, the final season is overstocked with supporting characters and hangers-around it's either unable or unwilling to deal with. With the conclusion of Season 6, Part 3, Cobra Kaihas finally come to an end. The Karate Kid sequel series/karate soap opera has entertained fans since 2018, but for now, the stories of Johnny Lawrence, Daniel Larusso, and the rest of the ensemble cast are over. The final episodes of the series do an exceptional job giving resolution to most of the core characters, but there's one in particular whose ending is particularly satisfying.

Cobra Kai is over, after a six-season run culminating with the finale on Netflix. Though the sequel series to The Karate Kid franchise may be over, the future for Daniel Larusso is wide open with Karate Kid: Legendspremiering in 2025 - starring Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio.
Though that may not be the only sequel that could happen. Whilst the main story of Cobra Kai is over, there’s now a whole army of karate kids/teenagers scattered across the world, and with so many characters going to so many places, there are ample possibilities for the future of the franchise on streaming.

This article contains spoilers for "Cobra Kai" Season 6 Part 3.
"Cobra Kai" Season 6 Part 3 doesn't hesitate to give its main characters their just desserts. While the show sweeps several members of its extensive cast to the sidelines out of necessity, Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence's (William Zabka) inner circles get perfectly satisfactory happy endings, each tailor made for the character in question. Likewise, the franchise's two biggest overarching antagonists get a thematically appropriate send-off, as 1980s uber-villains John Kreese (Martin Kove) and Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) die in an explosive and extremely 1980s-coded yacht punch-up.
However, not everyone gets what they deserve. In fact, by the time the credits roll for the series finale, titled "Ex-Degenerate," two major characters quite literally get away with murder.

Quick LinksA Recap of Kreese and Silver in 'Cobra Kai'Kreese and Silver’s Final Moves in 'Cobra Kai'Kreese & Silver’s Journeys up to 'Cobra Kai' Season 6
Through its entire six-season run, Cobra Kai has always been about villains. At its core, the question fans had to ask is whether Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) was/is the real villain or Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio). The story expanded to include a new generation of kids, initially centered around Miguel (Xolo Mariduena), a young student dealing with bullies much like Daniel did, along with new bullies turned good kids like Tory (Peyton List), Robby (Tanner Buchanan), and Kenny (Dallas Dupree Young).
Of course, what would a show like Cobra Kai, which reopens wounds from The Karate Kid more than 30 years ago, be without some of its original villains? Two who returned to reprise their roles from the original franchise films definitely won’t be returning.

Cobra Kai is back for the last batch of episodes in its sixth and final season. Along with a few surprise characters, including some returning from the original series (both from previous seasons and one new), there’s a new minor character who has a small but pivotal role.
Elizabeth Berkley is best known for her starring role in the teen sitcom Saved By The Bell as well as the movie Showgirls. Fans were surprised to see her pop up in the show. While her character has limited screen time across two of the five episodes, her role is the catalyst for something bigger.

The following contains spoilers for "Cobra Kai" Season 6 Part 3.
"Cobra Kai" might've reached its final round, but that hasn't stopped the show from inviting some impressive guest stars for its last push. In the closing third of Season 6, Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Amanda Larusso (Courtney Henggeler) are worried about their dear pal, Chozen (Yuji Okumoto). With the guy still hurt about Kumiko and understandably confused about his feelings for his former enemy, Kim Da-Eun (Alicia Hannah-Kim), Daniel and Amanda hope to provide some distraction by setting him up on a date with Amanda's pal Winnie. The two clearly make for a mismatched pair, but for fans hungry for nostalgia, it's a perfect fit, seeing as Winnie is played by one of the stars of an '80s staple that's just as iconic as "The Karate Kid" -- namely, "Saved by the Bell" veteran Elizabeth Berkley Lauren.
