James holds an MBA, attended law school, and is the only America to have graduated with a Masters of Global Security from the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, at the Royal Military College of Science. He's also done further post-graduate work towards a third masters and his PhD. As a humanitarian, James co-founded Boots on the Ground (BOTG), a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing in-field emergency assistance and educational programs in current conflict theaters, former military operational zones, and in areas of extreme poverty, famine, or that have been affected by disasters such as fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, flooding, and tsunamis. His work in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, in Haiti after the earthquake, in Japan after the Tsunami, and other places like Nepal, Texas, and Mexico have been featured in major news papers, on CNN, Fox News, the CBS Evening News, the BBC, Irish television, and more.
