Kayla Collins was born on April 1, 1987 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Kayla grew up in Mohnton, Pennsylvania. She worked at the tanning saloon the Baja Beach Tanning Club in Pennsylvania. Collins graduated from Twin Valley High School in Elverson, Pennsylvania in 2005 and attended Penn State University for three years. Kayla eventually moved to California to pursue a modeling career. She was discovered on MySpace by Holly Madison. Collins was the Playmate of the Month in the August, 2008 issue of "Playboy." Kayla has appeared as herself in several episodes of the reality TV series "The Girls Next Door." Collins owns a cat named Baby Boo. She lives in Los Angeles, California.

Kayla Collins first captured the hearts of viewers around the world with her appearance on the hit show The Girls Next Door (2005), Season 4, on E!. She flew to Los Angeles to test shoot for "Playboy" after being recruited by Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend Holly Madison via the popular networking site MySpace. Kayla soon found out that she would be gracing the pages of Playboy in the August 2008 edition. After signing contracts with Playboy, Kayla packed her bags for California and never looked back.

Starting a new life in California was ideal for the Pennsylvania native, as she'd dreamed of a glamorous life in the entertainment and fashion industry since she was a little girl. After her appearance on Season 4 of "The Girls Next Door", Kayla became a fan favorite and was later featured on Seasons 5 and 6, showcasing her centerfold shoot, 21st birthday, and more. Using the exposure of the show, Kayla developed a larger fan base than most Playboy Playmates. She majored in Business Marketing at Penn State University in Pennsylvania, and grew up a very hard worker, juggling five jobs at once during her teenage years. Her hard work and dedication to success was quickly noticed in California by fellow entrepreneurs. She was contracted in 2009 to design her own Swimsuit Line with Avante Swim called "Sweet". With a mini-launch of her line in 2010, Kayla was fortunate enough to wear her three swimsuits on the UK's hit TV series I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! (2002). which created not only a newfound fan base in the UK, but also extra exposure for her new line with 12-16 million viewers nightly.

Over the past few years Kayla has been featured on numerous magazine covers and spreads, commercials and shoots for such well-known brands as Mini Cooper, Comedy Central and Spike TV. After appearing on "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!" Kayla had a very significant amount of press surrounding her career, and her love life. Building up a strong momentum in just three years, Kayla is continuing to work hard and plant the seeds to new business ventures, and upcoming appearances on television and more.
