James Radford is a multi-award winning composer, music supervisor and songwriter.
He has an "inspired understanding" of how music works together with visuals.
With over 20 years experience in the music industry James composes music for all types of media including film, television, documentaries and commercials. He has produced the music for over 100 commercials in the UK and Worldwide.
James studied Film and Commercial Music Composition at The Royal Academy Of Music. Graduating top of his class in 2000 he received several awards for his composition and original music including the BMI Award, Lansdowne Recording Award and The Wilton Cole Prize.
He was extremely honoured to be appointed an 'Associate' of The Royal Academy Of Music in 2007.
James has won several awards for his work as a composer and music supervisor including two British Arrows Gold Awards, Gold Cresta International Advertising Award, Gold Cannes Lions Award, LIA Winner and D&AD pencils.
James has recently finished work as music supervisor for '100 Streets' starring Idris Elba and Gemma Arterton. He also arranged and produced the official song for the film which is a cover version of Ralph McTell's 'Streets Of London' performed by Beth McCarthy and released on the official soundtrack album through Warner Music.
