On April 23rd, at 10pm Eastern and Pacific, the four-part horror documentary series Amityville: An Origin Story will be making its premiere on MGM+… and with less than a month to go before that date arrives, we’ve gotten our hands on a teaser trailer for the show. The short teaser trailer for MGM+’s Amityville: An Origin Story confirms the documentary series will be delving into the murders of six DeFeo family members in 1974 as well as the paranormal events that supposedly occurred in the home when the Lutz family moved in. The four-part docuseries will premiere on April 23, 2023 at 10pm Et/Pt following the season two debut of From.

Epix announced that its upcoming adventure series “Billy the Kid” will premiere on April 24.
The series follows famous outlaw William H. Bonney, a.k.a. Billy the Kid (Tom Blyth), from his Irish roots to his cowboy days on the American frontier, including his role in the Lincoln County War.
The news came via Epix’s presentation at the Television Critics Association’s 2022 winter press tour, during which they also released a new trailer.

The MGM-owned cable network has ordered the four-part series Women Who Rock, exec produced by John Varvatos, who was behind its Punk series.
It is the latest music-focused series for the network, which recently aired Mr. A & Mr. M: The Story of A&m Records and has put a slew of titles into development (see the list below).
It has also ordered docuseries The Making of a Haunting: The Amityville Murders and renewed NFL Icons for a second season.

Vanessa Kirby and Shia Labeoufhave been tapped to star in Pieces Of A Woman, an indie drama from Sam Levinson’s Little Lamb Productions, a division of Bron Studios. Kornél Mundruczó will direct from a script by his frequent collaborator Kata Wéber. The story is about a grieving woman who, when a home birth goes tragically awry, is thrust into an emotional inner journey by trying to come to terms with her loss while also dealing with the ramifications in her interpersonal relationships with her husband and estranged mother. Little Lamb co-founders Kevin Turen and Ashley Levinson will produce along with Aaron Ryder. Executive producers are Viktória Petrányi, Sam Levinson, Aaron L.
