The first official trailer for the crime drama ‘Texas Killing Fields’ with Sam Worthington and Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been released. Due in theaters on October 7th 2011, the movie comes from director Ami Canaan Mann (Friday Night Lights), and writer Don Ferrarone, who looks to be making his debut as a screen writer. Joining both Worthington and Morgan is actress Jessica Chastain, Chloe Moretz, Annabeth Gish and Sean Michael Cunningham. Texas Killing Fields Trailer. Ami Canaan Mann‘s Texas Killing Fields (2011) movie trailer stars Sam Worthington, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chloe Moretz, Jessica Chastain, and Stephen Graham. Texas Killing Fields’ plot synopsis: “Texas Killing Fields follows a homicide detective in a small Texan town and his partner, a transplanted cop from NYC, as they track a serial killer dumping his victims’ mutilated bodies in a nearby marsh locals call ‘The Killing Fields’”.

I pieced together from this trailer *spoiler begins* that Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character uses Chloe Moretz’s character off-the-books as bait for the serial killer and the serial killer takes it (her) *spoiler ends*. That is just conjecture on my part but from this movie trailer I think that is what happens. This film could be good, certainly better than languid Small Town Murder Songs.
