Theodor Plievier was born on 12 February 1892 in Berlin, Germany. He was a writer, known for Festival (1963) and Stalingrad (1963). He was married to Margarete Grote, Hildegard Piscator and Maria Stoz. He died on 12 March 1955 in Avegno, Ticino, Switzerland.
