Laura Elisabeth Parent was born to Carrie Parent in Mission Viejo, California. She grew up in Southern California her entire life and her passion for movies was formed early as her entire family always united around a shared love of film. Laura attended Chapman University Dodge College film school where she earned a Bachelor's in Film Production and graduated cum laude in 2009. Laura's studies focused on writing and producing and she produced fellow student films Handprints, Blue Light Bandits, and The Gallery.
Laura took a long pause from film and worked in leisure/entertainment for 15 years, married her husband, and had 2 sons. After years away from her passion, Laura found her way back to film through the encouragement of her cousin Eli Moskowitz. The two of them are working together on an unnamed project expected to complete in late summer 2024 under Hoff10 Productions. Hoff10 is their nod to their grandparent's 10 grandchildren and the bond all of the cousins share to this day while they continue their enthusiasm for film and entertainment in their various careers.
