Allison Johnson has been a Ballroom and Latin dance instructor for 18+ years. She found everything on the dance floor: true love, her purpose, heartbreak... so she pours her experiences into her screenplays. Her goal is to get the world dancing by bringing the grace of Fred & Ginger back to the big screen.
During the pandemic, Allison wrote, directed, and produced four short films, each showcasing a different dance. Two won honorable mention in the One-Reeler Short Film Competition in '21 and '22. She has penned a pilot and five feature spec scripts and is in development on her debut feature, "I Won't Dance", a teen dance romantic comedy.
