Born in 1983, Ismael El Iraki lives and works in Paris, where he studied filmmaking at the Fémis. He started with short films, which were noted and rewarded (Short Film Prize, Attention Talent Film Award, Special Mention of the Jury at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival) thanks to their very personal style. Passionate about live music, El Araki has founded a concert recording company in Paris and has produced photos for music groups as well as a video installation for the Venice Film Festival. He is moving on to feature films with "Burning Casablanca" in 2021.
