Simeon Tsakiris

Simeon Tsakiris is an accomplished Greek actor celebrated for his dynamic presence across film, television, theater, and dance. A graduate of the National Theatre of Northern Greece Drama School (2003) and the Journalism and Mass Media program at the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki (2002), he merges a rich educational background with a passion for performance. Simeon stars as the lead in "Kyuka: Before Summer's End", directed by Kostis Charamountanis. The film premiered as the Opening Film at the 2024 ACID Cannes Film Festival and won four awards at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival (International Competition Film Forward). He also delivered a powerful supporting performance in "Phoebe", directed by Vaggelio Soumeli, which premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. Other notable film credits include "Adults in the Room" (2019), directed by the legendary Costa-Gavras. On television, Simeon has been featured in prominent series such as "The Witch" (2024, Ant1 Channel), "Oi Pantheoi" (2024, Skai Channel), "Afti I Nyhta Menei" (2023, Alpha Channel), "Karantina" (a James Franco series with Adi TV Studios, Dynamic Television, ZDF, and Asacha Media Group attached), "Silent Road" (2021, Mega Channel), and the Netflix series "Chocolate" (2019). In theater, Simeon has portrayed iconic characters like Macbeth in "Macbeth" (2020-21) and Voichek in "Voichek" (2019-20). He has collaborated extensively with visionary director Dimitris Papaioannou in groundbreaking dance-theater productions, including "Nowhere", "Medea²", "2", and "Inside". These collaborations have been pivotal in shaping his creative approach to performance. Fluent in English and Greek, Simeon also brings a diverse set of physical skills to his craft, including rowing, rock climbing, and dancing, making him a highly adaptable performer across genres and mediums.
