In 2015 he co-wrote "Letters from War", directed by Ivo M. Ferreira, that was in the main competition of Berlin International Film Festival (2016), and won the Portuguese Film Academy award for "Best Adapted Script" and the Aquila Prize for "Best Script".

He is the showrunner, scriptwriter and producer of the 9 episode drama series "South", that was released in the Portuguese public service broadcasting channel RTP1 in September 2019. "That the series was screened in Berlin is proof South stands alongside the top-quality TV dramas now being produced around the world. All eyes will now be on Portugal to see whether the country can follow Spain's footsteps in establishing itself as a storytelling force on the international stage." - Drama Quaterly, October 2019
