The film is currently being billed as The Untitled BriTANIcK Pizza Movie, and comes from American High and All Things Comedy. The film's story is set to revolve around Jack and Montgomery, two college undergrads and sloners who unwittingly ingest a new, homemade drug that abruptly turns an otherwise ordinary trip downstairs into a "mind-bendingly transformative quest."

The Untitled BriTANIcK Pizza Movie is being produced by Jeremy Garelick and Whill Phelps for American High along, with Billy Rosenberg for All Things Comedy, Jason Zaro, Max A. IFC is headed on a couple’s retreat with Jason Segel and Samara Weaving. The indie outfit has taken the United States rights to Over Your Dead Body, a feature following a dysfunctional couple who head to a remote cabin to reconnect, but who secretly have a plan to kill the other.

IFC will give a wide release to the project, with international rights up for grabs at Cannes.

The film hails from Jorma Taccone, the Saturday Night Live alum and member of the Lonely Island comedy trio. He is also known as the filmmaker behind Pop Star: Never Stop Stopping and MacGruber.

Karen and Nick welcomed a daughter in 2024 and named her Clementine. “2024 thank you for giving us Clementine .” In her Instagram Stories, she shared that Clementine was welcomed via c-section. She also shared a behind-the-scenes clip from a film she made this year that happened to coincide with her pregnancy. “Also as per the last slide,” she wrote, “I shot a film called ‘Let’s Have Kids’ right as I got preggo in real life so take that Daniel Day Lewis.”

If you’ve been following The Lonely Island and Seth Meyers Podcast, you’ve known that one third of The Lonely Island, Jorma Taccone, has been absent for the last few weeks while shooting a movie in Finland. Details of that movie have finally been announced.

Taccone will direct “The Trip,” a thriller and comedy film that stars Jason Segel, Samara Weaving, Juliette Lewis, and Timothy Olyphant, it was announced on Tuesday, November 19. Filming is currently taking place in Tampere, Finland and has been ongoing since October 23. Paul Guilfoyle and Keith Jardine also co-star.

Surprise - Karen Gillan is married! On Feb. 22, the 35-year-old Marvel star revealed on Instagram that she tied the knot with partner Nick Kocher at Castle Toward in Scotland in May 2022. "Last May…," Gillan casually captioned a series of photos, taken by photographer Holly Clark, from her wedding day. In the first snap, the actor is pictured wearing an opulent strapless white gown designed by Oscar de la Renta. The photo album also features a glimpse of Gillan's bridesmaids and a bagpipe player.

Ted Field’s Radar Pictures, best known for the “Jumanji” and “The Chronicles of Riddick” franchises, has teamed with James Leon’s 8th Gear Entertainment to produce action-thriller “Breakneck,” centering on a female driver who moves between the worlds of getaway driving and Formula E racing.

The project is eyed as a franchise-starter in the vein of “Fast & Furious,” and is being made in partnership with Fia Abb Formula E, electric racing’s championship organizer. Jim Byrkit (“Coherence”) will direct from a script by Nick Kocher (“Saturday Night Live”).

“Breakneck” chronicles the story of a racer, who — despite growing up as a poor orphan — climbs the Formula E ranks only to have her first ePrix race end terribly, and in her removal from the sport. To make ends meet, she becomes a getaway driver for a gang in Miami, still reminiscing of her days as a Formula E driver.

Exclusive: Netflix has unveiled a new mockumentary about the making of Cliff Beasts 6: Battle for Everest: Memories of a Requiem, the movie at the center of Judd Apatow’s recently-released comedy, The Bubble.

Apatow’s latest centers on a group of spoiled actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel, while attempting to complete the sequel to an action franchise film about flying dinosaurs. The mockumentary has its actors speaking in-character about what it was like to film Cliff Beasts while in quarantine.

The Bubble was released in select theaters on March 25th, debuting on Netflix on April 1st. Social media to the rescue!  Saturday Night Live writer Nick Kocher turned to Twitter for help over the weekend after he grabbed the wrong garment bag while exiting a Delta flight from New York City to Los Angeles. On Saturday, a Saturday Night Live writer Nick Kocher announced on Twitter that he accidentally grabbed the wrong tuxedo on his way to the Emmys —and he made a desperate plea to the internet to help him get his tux back.

“So I flew to Los Angeles yesterday and I grabbed my garment bag,” Kocher gloomily said in a video he posted on Twitter captioned “What Did I Do?”

“And it turns out it wasn’t my garment bag and now I have somebody else’s tuxedo and they have mine,” he continued.

Ahead of its season premiere on Oct. 1, storied comedy staple Saturday Night Live has reportedly hired seven new writers -- two of whom rose to prominence within the online video community. BriTANicK, a comedy duo comprising Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney -- whose videos have racked up millions of views on YouTube, CollegeHumor, and Cracked -- will serve as writers on SNL’s 42nd season, Splitsider reports.

The duo, who have been making videos since 2008 and who created a TV pilot for a Comedy Central in 2014, are also regular live performers and have appeared in How I Met Your Mother as well as served as writers for It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Kocher and McElhaney both hail from Atlanta and began performing together during college at Nyu.

It’s not exactly a Tom-Brady-caliber showstopper, but more a Ryan-Howard-like slugger that belts a home run whenever jokes connect. The “SNL”-packed football comedy “Balls Out” has landed North American distribution from Orion Releasing following its premiere at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival. MGM will distribute the film in Latin America. Formerly titled “Intramural,” the film was directed by Andrew Disney and written by Bradley Jackson.
