- Atul Satish Wassan was born on 23 March, 1967 in Delhi, India. After retirement, he became a cricket commentator. In the Tempo World Legends Cup held at Kathmandu, Kapil's Indian veterans beat Pakistan by 30 runs. The Indians, put in to bat by Pakistani skipper Abdul Qadir-rattled up 315 for six in the allotted forty overs - more than half of this came from the bat of opener Atul Wassan who in 101 balls quickfired 160 (including 17 fours and 10 sixes). For his efforts, Wassan was declared the Man of the Match.
