Jacob Mullen was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended the University of Mississippi (Ole' Miss), where he majored in marketing and minored in business management. While in college, he spent his free time with the local Humane Society, volunteering with the Oxford Film Festival, writing screenplays and visiting the local cinema.
