Nawarophaat Rungphiboonsophit is a freelance filmmaker living in South East Asia who known for his cinematography work called Manta Ray (2018), Nemesis (2019) and Morrison (2023). He won the Artistic Achievement Awards at the 59th Thessaloniki International Film Festival and was nominated for Best Cinematography at the 13th Asian Film Awards, as well as nominated for Achievement in Cinematography at the 12th Asia Pacific Screen Awards. Now he is a permanent voting member of Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA).
His short called Crazy Lotus (2024) was selected for Tiger Short Competition and won Tiger Short Award at the 53rd International Film Festival Rotterdam. Ferris Wheel, his 2015 short film, was screened and won multiple international awards at film festivals around the world.
He also works extensively as a 1st camera assistant on numerous feature films, commercials and other motion picture arts, with credits including Kiss of the Con Queen (2024) by Tom Waller, Thai Cave Rescue (2022) by Baz Poonpiriya, Beautiful Accident (2017) by Wi Ding Ho and The Island Funeral (2015) by Pimpaka Towira.
