She also received the Young Achiever Award from the Madison Chamber of Commerce for Madison, WI. High school musicals followed such as Hello Dolly and West Side Story. After college she took an advertising position with Zenith Media, an international buying firm, but realized her passion for acting was her true love and after taking one scene study class she never looked back.
After a year of studying, she was invited into an advanced/master scene study class at The Audition Studio in Chicago. Soon after, she moved to New York City to study under the greats, like Austin Pendleton at the prestigious HB Studios, and at Terry Schreiber Studios, to begin her professional acting career. Soon after she began appearing on the New York stage in classics like Polina in The Seagull and Virginia in Roulette. This all led her to Summer Stock where she played Mickey, the wise cracking Brooklyn cop in The Odd Couple ( female version).
She began her film career with a starring role in Desire in New York opposite Michael James Shaw ( Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War) earning her Lead Actress/ Honorable Mention from the Queen's World Film Festival in New York and Best Lead Actress in a Feature nomination at the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema in London. Her performance was described as " daring, bold and fearless" by Artistic Director, Don Cato of Queen's World Film Festival. Seen on both stage and screen as an authentic and passionate actress, Jennifer has played everything from comedic, quirky characters to strong, complicated females with deep rooted vulnerabilities.
