Conan O’Brien once fired a member of staff for being “impatient and rude” to a waiter in a restaurant, a former employee has claimed.

On Tuesday (18 October), many social media user shared their anecdotes of celebrities treating catering staff poorly, after allegations were made against late-night host James Corden by the owner of New York restaurant Balthazar.

Corden was banned from Balthazar by Keith McNally for his alleged treatment of restaurant staff, although his ban was later rescinded. McNally claimed that Corden had called him to “apologise profusely”.

Amid the row around celebrity entitlement, stand-up comedian Todd Levin, who was a writer on Conan from 2010 to 2020, shared his own story about working for a late night host.

“At Conan there was a crew member who was fired because Conan witnessed him being impatient and rude to a server at a restaurant,” he tweeted on Tuesday night.

'Static' is the Todd Levin helmed 3D horror flick that is getting some impressive plaudits from industry nerdlingers. Cinedigm have just scored the Us/Canada distribution rights and the plan is to unleash it onto VOD and quickly follow-up with a 3D release directly onto DVD. Meanwhile, however, Second Sight Films also picked up the feature here in the UK and intend to release it onto DVD in the UK market on 15 July. One film that's been clinging on to the shelf for the past several months is the next 3D horror flick coming at you from music video director Todd Levin, Static 3D. That changes now however as Cinedigm has sucked up the rights for the flick.

As per Deadline the low budget indie was shot in 3D with a custom rig to keep costs down. After an initial 2D VOD release, the plan is to release Static in 3D on DVD. Levin wrote the film with Gabriel Cowan, John Suits, and Andrew Orci.

New Artist Alliance, an Encino, Calif.-based production company specializing in low-budget films, has secured financing for a slate of four micro-budgeted movies, all to cost less than $1 million, that it will co-produce with management/production firm Caliber Media, reports THR. The first film under the new deal is an adaptation of the First Comics graphic novel THR Scribbler, author Dan Schaffers "tale of a woman will multiple personalities." John Suits, one of the founders of Naa, will direct the film, to be shot in 3D, which is beginning casting. The two companies have previously produced two movies together, which are both currently in post-production: Static, a horror-thriller starring Milo Ventimiglia, Sarah Shahi and Sara Paxton, directed by Todd Levin and shot in 3D, and 3 Nights in the Desert, starring Amber Tamblyn, Wes Bentley and Vincent Piazza, which Cowan directed.

The next time a panicked young woman shows up at your front door screaming about intimidating individuals wearing spooky masks, kindly ask her to take a hike and then securely bolt the door. Already set to hit the big screen this year in David R. Ellis' 'Shark Night 3D' horror as well as Ti West's chilling haunted hotel tale 'The Innkeepers', it seems cutie Sara Paxton (below) is certainly a busy young lady.
