Biography

Yang-Hua Hu was raised in Taiwan and came to the US to pursue a film career. After finishing his MFA at USC, he went to the dark side: working in a cutting room. As a Taiwanese immigrant, he is proud to be among the diverse pool of talent in Los Angeles, which would not be possible without the support of his parents, as well as friends and family on both sides of the Pacific. He is also grateful for his mentors in the industry, whose guidance and encouragement have helped fuel his innate passion for compelling and meaningful storytelling.
