Mario Lopez and Menudo Productions are heading up a global talent search for a new Menudo, a revival of one of the biggest Latin boy bands of all time.

Auditions for talent between the ages of 12 and 16 will begin online this July, followed by live auditions in various cities starting in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on September 17. Lopez will spotlight weekly highlight videos on Menudo streaming platforms for fans to discover, comment, and share their favorite contestants. Entrants will be able to upload their video auditions to a Menudo audition app when Lopez announces the kickoff of the auditions in two weeks.

The project, dubbed Menudo: A New Beginning, comes 12 years after the Latin boy band disbanded. Menudo Productions purchased rights to the Menudo brand in 2016.

The exceedingly gruesome Jersey Shore Massacre is likely to amuse but then repulse those who once relished the whiny twang of the young Italian housemates on MTV's hit show Jersey Shore.

Bypassing the beach altogether, writer-director Paul Tarnopol sends six bodacious Jersey girls on vacation to a remote (but swanky) house near the fabled Pine Barrens.

There's a deformed killer in them thar woods, but since he doesn't truly wreak havoc until the film's final third, viewers have a full hour to decide who's more dim-witted — the six women, or the muscled hunks they bring home from a bar. Tarnopol opens nearly every scene with a shot of a bikini-clad woman adjusting her cleavage, but in the contest for who's dumber, the over-tanned guys win hands down....

I've never been a fan of the whole Jersey Shore craze, but a horror comedy about it sounds like something that could be a fun jab.

Attack Entertainment will be releasing Jersey Shore Massacre In Theaters on August 22 and on VOD August 26.

The film was written and directed by Paul Tarnopol, and stars Danielle Dallacco, Angelica Boccella,Giovanni Roselli, Chris Lazzaro, Sal Governale, Richard Christy, Bigfoot, Shawn C Phillips and Ron Jeremy and is executive produced by Jennifer "Jwoww" Farley.

Jersey Shore Massacre is a blood-drenched horror comedy that does for guidos and guidettes what Zombieland did for zombies. After losing their Seaside Heights beach rental, Teresa and her girlfriends wind up at her Uncle Vito's hideaway in the New Jersey Pine Barrens along with five obnoxious fist pumpers. Unbeknownst to the group, a mentally deranged killer is single-handedly slaughtering them one by one in the most horrific ways imaginable, assisted only by the group's arrogance and ignorance.
