Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Coloni (1987 (1 GP)), Osella (1988 (10 GPs)-1989 (8 GPs)), Ligier (1990 (16 GPs)), Modena (1991 (5 GPs)), Ferrari (1992 (2 GPs), 1994 (2 GPs)) and Sauber (1997 (5 GPs)). He started 49 Grands Prix, 1 Podium and 7 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 14th in 1994.
He finished in 2nd the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, but his first points score and first and only podium was overshadowed by the tragic deaths of Roland Ratzenberger and Ayrton Senna.
