Gina Surles was born and raised in Chicago and Oak Park, Illinois. Received B.F.A. in dance from the University of Illinois, Champaign, Was assistant director and ballet instructor at Hawaii State Ballet in Honolulu for 35 years.
Producer and writer of the award-winning "Triple Threat Web Series," one of three projects accepted into the prestigious 2017 Creative Lab Hawaii Web Series Immersive program under the direction of Michael Andres Palmieri. First web series to win the Roy W. Dean 2018 Fall Grant, and won Best Pilot in the 2020 British Web Awards.
