Tysan Towney

Tysan Towney is an Australian actor best known for his role in the 2016 TV series Cleverman. He grew up in Scotts Head NSW, a small beach town. While surfing and training competitively in martial arts, boxing and athletics, Tysan accomplished a spot in a pre-Olympics training program for elite athletes, 'Jumpstart to London'.
He starred in the 2011 short film The Rose Tattoo, directed by Alanna Rose. For theatre he was Rochester in Playhouse Creatures directed by Andrew Davidson. In training Tysan has also worked with experienced Australian TV directors such as Ian Watson and Adrian Wills, physical-theatre practitioners like Kate Champion and theatre director Iain Sinclair.
