Spanning 20 years, these are snippets taken from various movies that I have been involved in as writer, producer and director. Beginning in the late 90s was Singapore's first feature sold to Miramax Studios entitled 'Forever Fever'. I followed up this endeavour with 'Dilarang Masuk/Forbidden' which was a supernatural thriller in the Malay language. This movie garnered nominations for Best Director, Best Picture and Best Actress at 2011's Film Festival Malaysia and Screen Awards. I was privileged to have been brought onboard Silver Ant's first animated feature 'Seafood/Sea Level' as creator/screenwriter and that too garnered me a Best Screenplay nomination at 2012's Film Festival Malaysia. Seafood was subsequently sold to over 200 territories world wide. In 2013, I won Michelle Yeoh's inaugural Short Film Script Contest held in partnership with FINAS (Film Commission of Malaysia) and had the opportunity to direct a slew of young talents for the production titled 'Khatan'. My collaboration with South East Asia's predominant production entity, mm2 Entertainment Singapore bore two features; the horror thriller 'Buyer Beware' with a star studded cast from Hong Kong and family drama 'Bu' with Malaysia's A-listers.
