- Kosta wrote and directed the award winning narrative short films Utopia (2019) and Light (2011) whilst his feature film directorial debut "Sacred Heart" (2015) starring AFI Award winning actor David Field had its world premiere at the 19th Shanghai International Film Festival and was acquired for distribution in North America by Gravitas Ventures.
He has written and directed stage plays and shorts, and was script translator and dialogue coach for the award winning ABC TV Series 'The Slap', based on the best-selling novel of the same name.
Kosta worked as a journalist and communications professional for more than 15 years before embarking on a film career. He holds a Master's degree in Interactive and Digital Media from the University of Sydney as well as a Bachelor's degree in Applied Communications majoring in literary studies, public relations and professional writing from the University of Western Sydney.- IMDb Mini Biography By: AS
- Kosta produced Australia's first and best selling byzantine music album ''Byzantium" through then Festival Records, recorded live in the crypt of St Mary's Cathedral in Hyde Park, Sydney and performed by the Australian Byzantine Choir.
- In 1994 as an unemployed journalism graduate he launched a weekly employment, education and training weekly newspaper The Employment Post. In 1995 he was appointed Editor of Internet Australasia magazine, the country's first by ISP Ausnet.
- Kosta founded with associate Peter Lord, The Green Room app: the world's first of its kind, free networking resource for indie filmmakers. After launching a basic version whilst raising funds to develop it further, Kosta and Peter decided to support fellow indie filmmakers by giving away $50,000 in development funds to some 15 indie projects. Unfortunately, the promising app was abruptly shut down as a result of the pandemic.
