Jamie Tarantini (formerly Jamie Elizabeth Sampson) is a stage, film and television actress. She was born on August 14th, 1986 in Barrie, Ontario to parents Robert Steinmiller and Barbara Sampson. She is the middle child of two older sisters and two younger brothers. She is of Irish, Scottish, French and German descent. Jamie is best known for her roles in dystopian Sci-Fi feature, 'Defective' (2017), and horror anthology, 'Late Night Double Feature' (2015).
A graduate of the Theater Arts Performance program at Humber College in Toronto, Jamie studied devised and physical creation. Her performances spanned such roles as Malvolio (Twelth Night), Athena (Pentheus), the Witch (Hansel & Gretel). She was a recipient of the Edna Khubyar Award in her final year for theater excellence.
In Toronto, Jamie trained extensively at the renowned Armstrong Acting Studios under Salvatore Antonio for film and television acting. Since moving to California she has continued training at the Bramon Garcia Braun Studio and The Village Acting Studio in Los Angeles.
Jamie is married to high school sweetheart and Aerospace engineer, Vincent Tarantini. They both reside and work in the greater LA area.
