In February 1963, Jackie, her brother-in-law Prince Stanislaw Radziwill, their family friend Chuck Spalding, and Secret Service agent Clint Hill embarked on a 50-mile hike from Palm beach to Fort Lauderdale. The U.S. Secret Service says that it has no audio recordings or transcripts of tapes from the Trump Administration, the Wall Street Journal reports. The topic of recordings during Trump’s term has become a matter of increased interest in recent weeks, after Trump brought up the subject while discussing ousted FBI director James Comey.

Last week, the front page of The New York Times mourned the death of Roger Moore. Shockingly, they ran a photo from Live and Let Die showing the actor, as James Bond, in bed with Jane Seymour, right there on the front page.
How fitting. But there’s a catch. While I’m a big James Bond fan, amongst 007 fans, Sean Connery is always revered at the “real” face of Bond. I get that. And if fact, when I read James Bond prose adventures I generally conjure up Connery’s face and voice as I visualize the scenes.
On the other hand… there was a 70s sentiment that admonished us all to love the one we’re with. And growing up, Roger Moore was the Bond I was with.
I clearly remember the day when my parents were debating the merits of taking my brother, Colin, and me to see a movie.

Actor who brought humour, panache and suavity to his starring roles in The Saint, The Persuaders! and seven James Bond films
Sir Roger Moore, who has died aged 89, considered himself to be only the fourth best actor to have played Ian Fleming’s secret-service agent James Bond on screen: in his estimation, he came in behind Daniel Craig (whom he called “the Bond”), Sean Connery and George Lazenby. Though Moore was rarely regarded as the best or most definitive Bond, his inimitable humour and panache made him many viewers’ favourite. His tally of seven films – beginning with Live and Let Die (1973) and ending with A View to a Kill (1985) – equalled that of Connery, though Moore occupied the role for a longer consecutive period. He was eloquent on the distinction between their portrayals. “Sean played Bond as a killer and I played Bond as a lover,” he said. Only on Fridays...

Is anyone having more fun than Barack and Michelle Obama post-presidency? On Saturday, Michelle was spotted doing some sightseeing in Montalcino, Italy, with a few friends (and Secret Service personnel). The former first lady looked casual and chic in white jeans and a striped one-shoulder Teija top and was all smiles while walking the streets and waving to onlookers. As Michelle got in some girl time, Barack hit the links and was seen playing a round of golf at the Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco. The following day, Barack and Michelle met up for another round of sightseeing fun, this time at the five-star Borgo Finocchieto estate in Tuscany; the adorable couple cuddled up while their friend snapped pictures of them - between the scenery and those smiles, we're sure the photos came out beautifully. (The new documentary "Becoming Bond" is now showing on the Hulu network.)
By Mark Cerulli
Prior to seeing Josh Greenbaum’s illuminating documentary, Becoming Bond, which premiered on Hulu May 20th, I had dismissed George Lazenby’s mystifying refusal to continue as 007 as just another gullible young actor taking bad career advice; like Tom Selleck passing on Indiana Jones, Travolta nixing Forrest Gump, Thomas Jane handing Don Draper to Jon Hamm… but there’s more to it than that, a lot more as it turns out.
Cleverly combining interview footage of Lazenby, still hale and hearty at 77, with well-staged recreations, Becoming Bond dives deep into this complicated and impulsive star to understand How he could casually dump one of the most coveted roles in the history of film. As it turns out, that decision is symbolic of who George Lazenby really is: intelligent, charming, naïve but most of all, independent.

There’s something about the way we frame the lives of actors that makes their existence seem like something out of a fairy tale. The magical audition, the fantastical big break, the ascendency through the collective public consciousness: all form our concept of what it means to be someone in the spotlight and it can seem like an alternate form of reality.
That perception of fame is the foundation for Josh Greenbaum’s new quasi-documentary “Becoming Bond,” a look at the life of one-time James Bond actor George Lazenby through the prism of a whimsical autobiography. The film follows Lazenby’s life from a sickly preteen to his time as an auto mechanic, through his rise as a male model and into his experiences with the role that he’ll be forever known for.

Secret Service agent Mike Ritter (Lamonica Garrett) finally tracked down the White House traitor during Wednesday’s “Designated Survivor” Season 1 finale, but the work is far from done for President Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) and his team. The ABC political series’ episode showed Ritter identifying Jay Whitaker (Richard Waugh) as the mole, and actor Garrett tells TheWrap that he was glad his character redeemed himself by ID’ing the traitor. “It’s gratifying because after last week, he walks right past me,” Garrett says of Whitaker. “So in the finale, I finally get my hands on him, and I think...

George Lazenby didn’t have much time as James Bond. The Australian model and car salesman notoriously bluffed his way into succeeding Sean Connery in 1969’s “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” (in which 007 falls in love with Diana Rigg, and left grief-stricken when she’s murdered by Telly Savalas’ Blofeld). He then walked away and slipped into obscurity.
But, thanks to “Becoming Bond,” the Hulu doc premiering Saturday, the 77-year-old Lazenby steps out of the shadows. Through a hilarious combination of onscreen narration and re-enactments starring Josh Lawson, Lazenby recounts his wild exploits, filled with sex, drugs, and rebellion. It’s directed by Josh Greenbaum (“The Short Game”) as “Drunk History” meets “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.”
At Wednesday’s premiere of “Becoming Bond” at Cinefamily in Hollywood, Lazenby ranked his fleeting moments as 007 with IndieWire:
1. Messing with that iconic gun-barrel opening sequence.

When the Australian 007 didn’t make another Bond movie, word got around he was hard to handle. In a new documentary, he tries to set the record straight
The 1969 classic On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, widely considered to be among the greatest James Bond movies, opens with 007 roaring his Aston Martin onto a beach at sunset. Jumping out of the vehicle to save a woman from killing herself in the ocean, he spectacularly defeats a couple of goons in hand-to-hand combat, then watches helplessly as the lady jumps into a car and drives away.
Alone on the sand, Bond – played by Australian model-cum-actor George Lazenby – turns to the camera and delivers the now- famous line: “This never happened to the other fella.”

Sure, reporters are super annoying when they shout out the same question over and over. But is that criminal? West Virginia authorities think so. Veteran reporter Dan Heyman was arrested in Charleston, W.Va., on Tuesday for “yelling questions at” Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price about whether domestic violence is a preexisting condition under the Republication replacement for the Affordable Care Act dubbed “Trumpcare.” And the American Civil Liberties Union isn’t having it, calling the arrest “outrageous.” Heyman was arrested for “aggressively breaching” Secret Service agents as they provided security to Price and Kellyanne Conway, special counsel to President Donald Trump,...

If you loved the Kingsman: Secret Service and are looking forward to the second installment Kingsman: The Golden Circle then get very excited! It looks like we may be getting a Kingsman trilogy. Director Matthew Vaughn announced that he has been working on a third “Kingsman” film. Variety reports Vaughn made the announcement at a Fox premiere event in London today. He said while writing the script for The Golden Circle, he and co-writer Jane Goldman had already started mapping out movie number 3. Vaughn also described The Golden Circle as the "Empire Strikes Back" of the Kingsman films, hinting it will likely have a big cliffhanger and/or plot development before letting the third film resolve matters.
Vaughn also played the entire first act of The Golden Circle for those in attendance, which was received extremely well. He says he is still 10 to 12 weeks away from completing The Golden Circle.

Matthew Vaughn may have been "hesistant" about making a sequel to The Kingsman: Secret Service, but with the second installment of the R-rated 2015 box office smash hit a few months away from release, the British director has hinted that there may be a third Kingsman movie in the pipeline. Last week, Oprah Winfrey told People that she “can’t talk about” her ultra-luxe French Polynesian yacht cruise with Tom Hanks and Bruce Springsteen as well as Michelle and Barack Obama. “What happens on the boat, stays on the boat,” she said.
But Hanks wasn’t sworn to secrecy.
The Circle star dished the details from that star-studded adventure on Friday’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert. “That made the news, it was really interesting. Both Oprah and I were really pissed off,” Hanks, 60, joked about how the secret trip was exposed.
