Tim Hecker is a Juno Award-winning Canadian composer and sound artist. He is known internationally for experimental ambient recordings released under his own name, and soundtracks. He has released nine albums and collaborated with artists such as Ben Frost, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and Daniel Lopatin.
Hecker composed the score for the BBC Two drama series The North Water directed by Andrew Haigh, Brandon Cronenberg's upcoming movie Infinity Pool, 2016's The Free World, and the Austrian horror drama Luzifer.
