Ivan was born in Villach, Austria, on October 11, 1945, by a Ukrainian mother and father. He spent 14 years of his childhood in Venezuela, S.A., then moved to Maryland, USA. He settled in Baltimore where he stayed until after his graduation from High School in 1965. He pursued acting, music, and numerous sports as a young man.
After High School, he was recruited into the military at the onset of the Viet-Nam conflict and while in the military lived in numerous locations during that time. He is an honor graduate with a B.S. in Business from Morgan State University in 1974, Baltimore, MD. After his retirement, he pursued his life long dream of acting.
In 2003 he moved to Florida and sought out local film productions, many from the University of Tampa's film school to sharpen his filming skills. Ivan has worked either behind the scenes as a Producer, Director, Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Production Manager, and other positions on more than 15 short films, 3 feature length films, and 1 commercial.
He has a varied background that has helped in his artistic endeavors and with small parts in films.
