Shawn Rech is a documentary director and producer. He's most known for creating films that document wrongful convictions and over-sentencing. Three of his project's subjects have been released from prison. He also frequently examines the role of journalism in the justice system.
His first film, "A Murder in the Park" (Showtime/Netflix) was named to Time Magazine's list "The 15 most fascinating true crime stories ever told."
