Logan Wildey
- Actor
- Writer
- Producer
Born in Santa Cruz, California, Logan Wildey started his creativity at a young age. His parents saw at an early age that he had a knack for entertaining, and making people laugh without much effort. When he was 10 years old he received a video camera, which took his creativity to new heights. He was constantly encouraging friends and family members to join in short films he wrote and directed. This hobby quickly grew into a very versatile talent as he became known throughout the neighborhood as "movie kid".
By age 20, Logan had already made over 15 short films. He decided to enroll in Monterey Peninsula College to study drama and film. This helped him to develop his talents and build on the skills he had been growing. After college Logan did a few full length films and extra work with other directors and writers, trying to focus more on his acting. Unfortunately several of the films he spent time in never made it to the screen. At 26 he decided to write his own script and get it published. After getting it syndicated, he took it to some big names, but nobody was interested. He knew he had talent for writing and performing and did not want to give up. He decided he did not want to be secluded to the screen, so he took a break from film and began to perform stand-up comedy in the Bay Area. He performed at The San Jose Improv, Rooster T. Feathers, The Purple Onion, and many more. After about 3 years of performing stand-up comedy he decided to start incorporating short films and music videos into his resume. He started a Youtube channel to feature all of his ideas. He is continuing to do that as well as expanding into auditions for larger roles.
He has trained at the Bay Area Acting Studio under the Sanford Meisner technique, as well as performing in live Improv shows produced by the studio. At the end of 2015 he starred in a film he wrote, co-produced, and starred in along side a big named actor, Jeffrey Weissman. Star of the original Back to the Future sequels 2 and 3. Titled "Back to the Future?" the film was a comedic view of what would justify the current future as opposed to the original Back to the Future part 2 film's view. That was submitted into and accepted into several festival through out the Country. Including Florida, LA, a Back to the Future cruise with Michael J. Fox and the rest of the original cast.
Logan is now living in Los Angeles as a represented actor and member of SAG-AFTRA. He has now trained in Groundlings and UCB as well as attending Method acting classes and Voice over classes. He continues his stand-up and his Youtube channel, but is putting most of his focus into getting bigger roles.
