Jamie Houge is a film producer and digital experience producer from Melbourne, Australia. Her feature work in the USA and Australia includes producer and production manager on SUGAR MOUNTAIN (2016) staring Jason Momoa, Cary Elwes, Drew Roy, and Melora Walters, THE LOOKALIKE (2014) starring Justin Long, John Corbett, Luis Guzman, Gina Gershon, Jerry O'Connell, Scottie Thompson, and Gillian Jacobs, BLINDER (2013). Jamie is also credited for her work as production coordinator on US feature film, MINE GAMES (2012), production manager of Sydney Film Festival premiering short PERCEPTION (2013, Dir. Miranda Nation), which was awarded Best Short Film in 2013. She was also creative director and producer of Australian-Canadian co-production THE WESTBURY FAERY (2017), a multi-platform storytelling and Augmented Reality game funded by Screen Australia, Canada Media Fund and Film Victoria which won the international Shorty Award for Best Use of Augmented Reality. She was also the producer and production manager of COLD WAR (2015) starring Robert Patrick, and executive producer on Barkla's, INSIDE FIGHTER (2014). Jamie was awarded 3rd place at the esteemed London Production Finance Market at BFI London Film Fest 2016 (supported by Film Victoria, BFI, and the MIFF 37 South Market), for feature film SWITCHBLADE ELECTRIC with Jesse O'Brien, currently in development. Jamie is also in development on feature documentary, THE MIGHTY APOLLO, with director Nick Barkla with the support of Screen Australia and Film Victoria
Jamie draws her expertise from a successful career in producing and strategic marketing & publicity across all forms of media. Beyond her work as a feature film producer, Jamie produces short form film, TVCs, Augmented Reality experiences, websites, apps, live broadcast social media video and multi-platform narratives. She specialises in developing marketing strategies for creative industries, new businesses, films and other productions, and in identifying and engaging audiences for creative works from inception through to release.
