Mathilde Suissa

Mathilde Suissa is a Writer, Director, and Production Designer based in New York. Mathilde has directed narrative films, music videos and commissioned spots, and was a recipient of the BAFTA Scholarship, Judith Zabar Talent Award and the Emerging Filmmaker Award. Mathilde's narrative writing and directing work has screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, Academy Award qualifying Cinequest, Portland Film Festival and NewFest amongst others. Her spot for Nike was acquired by iPic Gold Entertainment for national distribution and highlighted for featuring women in sports. Her film Hidden is streaming nationwide on Fearless, and Mathilde was a recipient of the Bronx Art Council's Film Grant for her film, Wraith. As Production Designer, Mathilde has designed and art directed a variety of mediums from features to commercials and print, alongside successful directors such as John Magaro, Jennifer Gelfer, and starring DeWanda Wise, Merrin Dungey, and Fran Kranz. She is represented by Shapiro Management as a Production Designer.
