Born and raised in LA, he's been living in the UK since 2017. After winning Best Student Short at the age of 18 at Shriekfest, Hollywood, Murphy has continued to make films that have screened at top tier international film festivals.
Murphy is also the festival director for the BIFA qualifying Kino London Short Film Festival.
