Born in Città di Castello, Italy. He studied Geology before moving to Lodz to pursue an MA in directing at the Polish National Film School. His film "Short Distance" won an award at the Polish Film Festival and was later selected for festivals worldwide, along with his documentary Eventide. He graduated with top marks from the film school's directing program and is developing his first feature film, The Christening.
