Silvia Crastan began her artistic journey in the world of classical music and acting, developing a deep sensitivity to performance, movement, energy and emotion. Over time, she became disillusioned with the patriarchal structures and superficial values embedded in both industries. Seeking authenticity over image, she chose to step away from performance in pursuit of a more truthful and intellectually grounded path.
While teaching German and reading literature, she began studying Law and training as a barrister in her continued search for meaning and integrity. Though aware of the prestige-driven culture that pervades the legal world, she approaches it with curiosity, hoping to find - or carve out - a space where truth, clarity, and courage can thrive.
Her work, both past and present, reflects a constant questioning of systems, a resistance to superficiality, and a commitment to living and creating authentically.
