Ben Swimmer is a Los Angeles based actor from a small town in Connecticut. He made his theatrical debut performing at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Connecticut. Thereafter, he studied theatre and film studies at Boston University.
Swimmer has been directed by Brian Baumgartner in a college humor skit about turtle racing. He also shared the screen with Reneé Rapp in her music video Pretty Girls, directed by Cara Delevingne. Along with a handful of professional theater and voice over credits to his name, Ben also acts in commercials, once appearing alongside Anthony Anderson in an NFL Smirnoff spot.
Ben volunteers his time with Heal the Bay, an environmental advocacy group of activists based in Santa Monica, California centered around ocean protection. As an avid surfer, he is very passionate about cleaning up the ocean. In addition to acting, he hopes to also work in documentary film to help spread awareness of the issues and concerns that threaten the world today.
Occasionally, he releases music on Spotify under the names Dirty Fanfiction and Swill.
